Server update

there will be a server update for 5-12-11 for 3 to 4 hours. Anytime after 6PM

Is the server down atm? It's been down via the EQ emu launcher since the update and is down atm going through eqgame.exe(although i was able to play through eqgame.exe yesterday).

looking into it I have been working sll weekend

It seems we may have had some sort of hardware problem at the hosting site for server. It looks like it may be down till tommrow morning somethime. could be sooner but since we have the server hosted we are under there control line for testing and repairs of the server hosting. This is the first real down time in awhile, even tho it is out of our hands we are sorry for the delay. The last downtime was because the mother board went out of server. I will let you know more as I find it out.

We have found the the operating sytem was corrupted and since the back up was on the second drive that we cannot get to, They have to take the old drive out and make it act as a usb. And of course they want money to do that, I have been fighting with them all day about it. I have gotten them down to 75 bucks that is half of what they wanted before. I will order them to pull the drive here in the next hour or so and will have to get the data off and clean a new drive for a fresh install. I am hoping tommrow sometime. The good news is I am off the next couple days. I am sorry but it was due to the windows server 2008 taking a dumb nothing we did, we are just trying to fix it and not get raped by the hosting company at same time.

I just talk to server hosting and they have started the proccess of getting this fixed. So we are getting closer to playing again. Ven is going to try and get the new emu rev in with the fresh new drives so will have an updated emu at the same time. Will let you know more as I find out. I spent all day fighting about the price of things. *GOOD NEWS* after all day fighting Pro has won, it is free LMAO.

We are back up, but we are tessting alot of stuff. we did the emu update plus getting the server back online. If you are missing anything due to the server going down please let me know so we can get it fixed

yes it is as soon as Ven can put the code in the new rev and compile it. Lets please remember that Ven has a real job, kids and family please. Ven has told me that it will get done as fast as Ven can. I will post it as soon as that happens.
