Bot Code Update

This isn't necessarily an announcement, but wanted to put it where everyone will read it.

I have started reviewing the several C programs that bot code is embedded into for the release we are on. As soon as I get my head around where our changes integrate into the updated code, I will post here with an estimated timeline

Just wanted everyone to know that it is being looked at and will have an ETA soon. There is a LOT of code to wade through to make it work correctly.

I talked to Ven today and the bot code should be updated by the 10th along with some new bot code that was not in our first custom code release

Hey Prot, I just tried playing around on the server for a few mins and it wasn't a pleasant few mins =/. Mobs seemed to be healing at a very very rapid rate, was extremely difficult for my 8 dps bots to down 1 single mob in powar. The hp bars were all wacked out, showing -11% for some of my bots, my cleric stayed at 65% even when healed, and the lag was awful. I can't get out of plane of war because the bot port doesn't work right now. Not a big deal though since I'll wait until the script is ready to really spend some more time on the server, but I wanted to let you know about the hp bars and the mobs insane regen?

You can still port, the command as of right now is Bot gate and name of zone. I removed the regen on mobs in PoWar not sure why they where acting so diffrent. What mobs where you trying to Kill there?

if it wasnt the regen then it was definitely the hp bars bugging out but it was for all kos mobs there

It must have been your UI, I tested many diffrent mobs and they where all OK when tested.

Just wanted to give you an update on the bot code fixes progress.

It is looking like I am not going to be done in time for tomorrow's update. I'm still trying to get a clean compile on all the pieces that I've modified. I'm hoping to have it all ironed out by Monday, but will keep you guys posted.

Any update on bot code yet?

Not yet...I've been having some server issues at work and haven't had a chance to finish this up. I've not forgotten about you guys!

I was talking to Ven this morning and There is good news and bad news. The good news is We are going to go back to our complete old bot code. I am hearing tomany complaints about the new bot release, plus I am not found of it either. We will Keep the Emu update minus bots. We have both been very busy at work, so please give us a bit more time to get this all set up.

Just wanted to give everyone an update. I will be getting back to working on the bot updates this week. I had some major issues going on at work and had to focus on that for a while.

I've not forgotten about you guys!! My apologies that this is taking so long!
